Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2026 Summer Intern as an Operations Analyst. In this role, you will apply advance analytical skills along with other industrial engineering skills and analyses to help turn an array of raw data into actionable information for use in making sound business decisions and help the Build Teams focus on ways to increase their efficiencies and quality, and lower the cost of our products. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of work collaboratively with team members to solve complex problems to create information solutions. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research/Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Experience with analytics and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Excel, as well as programming languages including Python and R
  • Familiarity with accessing and working with data from multiple systems and sources, including SAP, HANA, and SQL
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical education or academic background in engineering, analytics, or a related field
  • Experience with advanced and predictive analytical solutions across a variety of systems and data sources
  • Familiarity with discrete event simulation modeling
  • Knowledge of manufacturing concepts related to part manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Understanding of Industrial Engineering concepts, methodologies, and tools
