About The Position

The Operations Administrative Paid Apprentice will support daily administrative and operational functions at 330 Jay Street. Designed specifically for an ADP Scholar currently enrolled in college, this apprenticeship provides hands-on experience in administrative operations, event coordination, and office support within a professional setting. The apprentice will serve as a key member of the front desk team, assisting with reception duties, work orders, meeting coordination, and event support, while receiving mentorship and professional development throughout the program.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an ADP Scholar
  • Interested in developing administrative, operations, or office management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dependable, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite preferred).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Professional demeanor and customer service orientation

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, staff, and guests at the front desk with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Support the front desk staff with managing work orders, incoming calls, and general office inquiries.
  • Assist with scheduling and setting up meetings, including reserving rooms and preparing materials.
  • Provide support during on-site events and activities at 330 Jay Street.
  • Ensure prompt restock of cafe supplies and support with training setup as needed.
  • Help maintain organized records, files, and office supplies.
  • Participate in assigned mentorship sessions and learn opportunities to build administrative and professional skills.
  • Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
