About The Position

Purpose of the role To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. Accountabilities Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards. Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects. Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met. Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives. Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget. Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary. Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation. Join Barclays Operational Readiness and Transformation team as an Operational Readiness, AVP. where you will play a central role in overseeing and delivering change projects that keep our organization moving forward. In your role,, you'll help us ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope and budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will support strategic Operational Readiness and Transformation work across US Corporate Bank Operations, driving continuous improvement by assessing current processes, shaping future state operating models, and ensuring that change is effectively embedded across the organization. To succeed, you should bring considerable banking operations experience—from day to day functional processing and risk mitigation to compliance and issue management—along with a documented ability to manage multiple projects at once. Your focus on simplification, automation, and operational excellence will help us deliver meaningful, lasting impact for our colleagues and customers.

Requirements

  • Overseeing internal change programs driving on time execution while maintaining scope and quality control
  • Demonstrated experience working with Fintech companies, including understanding their unique needs as a client base to drive innovative solutions and strengthen strategic partnerships
  • Confirmed proficiency in real-time or faster payment methods, showcasing knowledge of industry trends and direct experience implementing advanced payment solutions
  • ACH accreditation (or equivalent experience) to overseeing and driving projects and ensure sound operational practices and compliance with NACHA rules
  • Overseeing support processes for legal/contractual agreements or similar documentation and workflows (e.g., DACA; Deposit Account Control Agreements)
  • Operations, Technology, or other COO area experience
