About The Position

Join Dungarvin as an Operational Manager / 245D Designated Manager in Washington/Ramsey County, MN. This role involves managing and overseeing services, staff, and facilities to ensure a high standard of care and seamless coordination of organizational services. The Operational Manager is crucial in upholding and promoting Dungarvin's mission, making a meaningful impact daily. Responsibilities include overseeing service quality, maintaining contact with individuals served and their support networks, managing support plans, and addressing complaints. The role also ensures programs meet licensure and certification standards, conducts evaluations and audits, and manages program finances, budgets, accounts receivable, and expenditures. Personnel management involves supervising program managers, overseeing hiring, training, performance evaluations, staff schedules, and payroll. For residential programs, the manager ensures facility maintenance and safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and risk management. Additionally, the manager promotes the organization's mission and values, represents the organization professionally, and participates in work groups and committees.

Requirements

  • Must meet Designated Manager qualifications in accordance with the 245D requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Service field and 2 years' experience in a related field
  • Valid United States Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle background check per Dungarvin, Inc’s policy.
  • Valid liability vehicle insurance with reliable transportation.
  • Must demonstrate good decision-making, time management, communication skills, be responsible, flexible and have management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a residential program is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee service quality, maintain regular contact with individuals served and their support networks, manage support plans, and address complaints.
  • Ensure programs meet licensure and certification standards and conduct evaluations and audits.
  • Ensure programs meet financial targets, manage budgets, and address financial needs.
  • Collaborate on budget development and manage accounts receivable and expenditures.
  • Supervise program managers, oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations, and manage staff schedules and payroll.
  • Ensure the maintenance and safety of facilities, comply with regulatory standards, and manage risk.
  • Promote the organization's mission and values, represent the organization professionally, and participate in work groups and committees.
