About The Position

The Operational IT Analyst - Production Workflow & Automation is responsible for working on specific projects that form part of the overall Production workflow strategy across various departments. This position requires research, development, evaluation and implementation of Production workflow technology and solutions (upgrades and new) in order to improve operating efficiencies, deliver cost reductions, and provide value analyses. This role works closely with internal and external technology partners, suppliers and the BRM to fully evaluate and implement selected solutions and standards. This role is Hybrid with 3 days working onsite at our West Liberty Ave. location and 2 days remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree in business or related IT field
  • 6+ years of previous workflow experience
  • Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Experience with Networking, System Integration, Software Applications, and MS Windows in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Self motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all Production workflows are configured and maintained in a manner that support both internally and externally agreed upon service levels.
  • Reviews key-user Production workflow requirements and assist in defining a departmental strategy for delivery of updates and new processes to ensure maximum resource utilization and effectiveness.
  • Attends Production workflow strategy planning meetings as necessary.
  • Researches issues, identifies opportunities for improvement, creates and/or updates workflows, and deploys and implements workflows consistently and effectively.
  • Ensure computers and related equipment are properly maintained to keep production flowing.
  • Continually communicates with related parties to determine how processes work in the current state to recommend improvements to be utilized in the future state.
  • Ensure replacement equipment is in stock and ready to be deployed when needed
  • Trains on new processes and/or workflow tools and create/provide end user reference documentation and training manuals to standardize procedures.
  • Delivers projects on time and within budget.
  • Develops and maintain a good understanding of technological advancements, industry trends, and competitor activities to determine whether these ideas can be used.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
