About The Position

This position functions as an individual contributor and works independently and within a team to ensure high quality execution of OpEx initiatives. The role involves partnering with teammates on key project tasks and delivery, with ownership over some key tasks. The consultant will facilitate the execution of identified scope and identify opportunities for collaboration across OpEx. They are responsible for delivering key projects on time and with quality, demonstrating vision, direction, and effectiveness, and influencing team direction. The position requires developing and testing creative solutions to business problems, analyzing and managing project risks, and monitoring progress. It also includes providing assistance to projects or teammates beyond their immediate scope, supporting the design and implementation of developed process-oriented solutions or projects, and partnering with teammates to ensure adequate change management and adoption. Building internal and external relationships within the business unit is essential for initiative success, leveraging these relationships to establish recognition within OpEx. The consultant must display knowledge of core business functions within Banking Operations and the Operational Excellence & Transformation, and possess a foundation of industry-specific knowledge.

Requirements

College Degree or equivalent education, or commensurate training and work-related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Visio)
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly complex, results driven environment
Financial Services Experience, focused in consumer banking and/or lending

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the consulting industry
Knowledge of with operational and technical environments of financial institutions, including knowledge of applicable banking laws and regulations
