About The Position

This position functions as an individual contributor and works independently and within a team to ensure high quality execution of OpEx initiatives. The role involves partnering with teammates on key project tasks and delivery, with ownership over some key tasks. It requires facilitating the execution of identified scope and identifying opportunities for collaboration across OpEx. The consultant is responsible for timely and quality delivery on key projects, demonstrating vision, direction, and effectiveness, and influencing team direction. This role develops and tests creative solutions to business problems, analyzing and managing project risks while monitoring progress. It also provides assistance to projects or teammates beyond the immediate scope, supports the design and implementation of developed process-oriented solutions or projects, and partners with teammates to ensure adequate change management and adoption. Building internal and external relationships within the business unit is crucial for initiative success, leveraging these relationships to establish recognition within OpEx. The position requires knowledge of core business functions within Banking Operations and the Operational Excellence & Transformation, along with a foundation of industry-specific knowledge.

Requirements

  • College Degree or equivalent education, or commensurate training and work-related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Visio)
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly complex, results driven environment
  • Financial Services Experience, focused in consumer banking and/or lending

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the consulting industry
  • Knowledge of with operational and technical environments of financial institutions, including knowledge of applicable banking laws and regulations
