Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, onsite, Moses Lake, WA WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON Champion MLI's Total Business System (OPEX) by supporting the corporate OPEX Manager to develop best practices and meet defined strategic goals/KPIs and relevant business tools/ key initiatives in MLI's quickly changing and dynamic business environment. Support the development of high-priority operational excellence initiatives/projects with stakeholders and manage the day-to-day activities of all projects/programs in Moses Lake. Support timely completion of all mandated OPEX projects within the limits of resource availability. Communicate regularly with the Corporate OPEX Manager regarding workload and priorities. Exercise flexibility in performing assignments as business needs evolve. Sustain accurate, real-time roadmaps with PAS [owner, status, ECD & risk], metrics, and reporting frequency for Business Continuity Plan (BCP) & Disaster Recovery (DR). Sustain continuous, uninterrupted business continuity, risk management, and recovery for MLI and all its entities, including: Deployment, testing, sustaining, monitoring, measuring, control & improvement of Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), Risk Management (RM), FMEA Noise Factor, PFMEA and supplier Recovery to meet internal and external customer requirements. Support & partner cross-organizationally for compliance, best practices, and continuous OPEX, BCP, & DR improvement to meet internal/external requirements. Gain an understanding of the internal/external customer’s needs and requirements and communicate them and the quality standards to stakeholders. Perform and carry out PFMEAs and FMEA Noise Factor reviews regularly on all current and upcoming processes/departments per policy. This includes all production and non-production areas. Administer/facilitate APiS software as the system of record for FMEA development as part of ICCM continuous improvement for MLI/MLDCI/MLXCI and future MLI locations. Ensure program/project documents are complete, current, and available for review by all parts of the organization. Communicate assigned project/program status, risks, and mitigation plans to the OPEX Manager and Director of EHSS & Engineering. Identify potential issues and determine solutions, working with partners/stakeholders for alignment, buy-in, and support to resolve the issue. Gain regular, frequent feedback from internal/external customers to re-assess the OPEX & BCP programs, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Support and coordinate department training to promptly identify and manage improvement-related opportunities using OPEX tools (ICCM, SFM, TPM, FMEA, RCA, CAPA, etc.). Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.” Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations. Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, including leading complex projects/program management objectives and people, with a minimum of at least 3 years with a direct role in manufacturing or production.
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations or business administration or equivalent experience in Operations, BCP, DR, or another related field.
  • Experience working in a chemical manufacturing company, semi-conductor, or high-tech.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required. If candidates do not have a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, they must complete certification within one year of obtaining the role.
  • Continuous improvement experience is required.
  • Practical knowledge and/or experience in implementing OPEX/Lean/Six Sigma initiatives in a manufacturing environment. Candidate should be willing to learn and become proficient quickly if experience is limited.
  • Demonstrated prior Business Continuity Plan experience developing, deploying, and sustaining program in chemical supply chain, manufacturing, and/or semiconductor industry.
  • Familiarity with ISO22301 with preferred certifications or path to certification include EDRP (EC-Council Disaster Recovery Professional), CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Manager), CBCI (Certificate Business Continuity Institute), CBCM (Certified Business Continuity Manager), C/DRE (Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer).

  • Ability to travel (All US States & International), up to 75% of the time.
  • Office location preference at Moses Lake, WA, Hybrid upon approval with demonstrated ability to work remotely effectively with no impact to results.
