About The Position

The Operations Advisor partners with leadership to improve execution, scalability, and operational discipline by identifying inefficiencies, aligning teams, and implementing practical, measurable solutions. Operational Strategy & Execution Assess current operational processes and identify inefficiencies, risks, and scalability gaps Design and implement streamlined workflows that improve speed, quality, and cost control Translate leadership goals into executable operational plans with measurable outcomes Support leadership in prioritizing initiatives based on operational impact and capacity Process Improvement & Controls Lead process mapping and optimization efforts across core business functions Establish SOPs, documentation, and operating rhythms to ensure consistency Introduce controls and checkpoints to reduce errors, rework, and operational drift Recommend automation or tooling where manual processes limit growth Cross-Functional Alignment Act as a trusted advisor between leadership, finance, operations, and execution teams Identify handoff breakdowns between departments and implement corrective actions Facilitate decision-making by clarifying tradeoffs, timelines, and dependencies Performance & Metrics Define key operational KPIs and success metrics Analyze operational data and present insights and recommendations to leadership Drive accountability through regular reviews and follow-ups Risk Management & Compliance Identify operational, financial, and execution risks Recommend mitigation strategies and contingency plans Ensure operational practices align with regulatory, contractual, and internal standards Leadership Support & Advisory Serve as a sounding board for executives on operational decisions Provide objective, experience-based recommendations Step in to stabilize or course-correct underperforming operational areas Conduct quarterly operational health assessments Advise on org structure, role clarity, and capacity planning Support major initiatives (growth, restructuring, system changes) Provide on-demand guidance during critical decision periods
