About The Position

Cresco Labs is seeking an Operational Adherence Specialist to support our Sunnyside Pennsylvania team. This role will be responsible for executing audits, assisting with education initiatives, and supporting store teams to ensure compliance with all state regulations and internal Work Instructions. This individual will report to the Associate Manager, Operational Adherence, and play a key role in maintaining operational integrity across stores in Pennsylvania in a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally to resolve compliance issues and support regulatory adherence at the store level.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage/own multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build positive working relationships.
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness and ability to learn and maintain knowledge of state regulations.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in compliance, operations, or audit in the cannabis industry (or within a regulated industry alcohol, tobacco, manufacturing, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Own conduction of remote and in-store audits to ensure compliance with state regulations and company Work Instructions.
  • Own reviewing self-inspections completed by Store teams and provides timely feedback, guidance, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Owns training and day-to-day support and education to Retail teams regarding compliance expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Assists with monitoring inventory discrepancies and losses; escalates findings and supports resolution in partnership with Adherence and Store leadership.
  • Supports the execution of Comprehensive Inventory Audits in accordance with state regulations and internal standards.
  • Owns internal tracking, reporting compliance findings and trends, to the Associate Manager, Operational. Adherence.
  • Assists with state communications by preparing documentation and supporting responses related to submissions, inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
  • Supports routine regulatory requests (e.g., vendor events, outreach, local marketing approvals) under guidance from leadership.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records, audit documentation, and compliance reporting tools.
  • Owns self-educating to stay current on applicable state and local regulations and proactively escalates regulatory changes or risks as needed.
  • Supports the creation, updates, and training of Work Instructions related to operational adherence.
