Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • 3 years' experience in Warehouse environment preferred; construction or industrial environment a plus
  • Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions
  • Exhibits integrity and trust as well as respect for the individual through strong moral character, demonstrating leadership and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and exceptional leadership skills to include team building skills by setting high standards for self and others
  • Clearly communicate expectations, issues and feedback
  • Customer service focused and collaborative as appropriate with internal and external customers
  • Must have an ability to ensure the safety of both the individual and customers is protected at all times
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle stress in highly productive environment while problem solve in all areas of the Warehouse
  • Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Bilingual verbal and written communication in English-Spanish preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe work environment for all employees & customers
  • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
  • Coordinate and supervise material receiving, documentation, storage, inventory control, disbursement and off-site shipping activities
  • Develop and implement warehouse strategies aligned with production goals, safety standards, and customer service requirements
  • Maintain inventory through prevention of loss due to fraud, quality, and counting; including loss of product not being cycled/expired
  • Oversee the usage, maintenance, and repair scheduling for warehouse equipment, including forklifts, trucks, and fabrication machines
  • Collaborate with internal and external carriers to improve service levels and resolve delivery issues
  • Must collaborate with management to ensure successful accomplishments of warehouse and production
  • Maintain the overall appearance of the facility
  • Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization
