About The Position

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to support our Market Area Americas National Construction and Engineering organization in identifying, driving, and facilitating efficient and effective changes and performance improvements. This role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to develop operations expertise, with emphasis on project planning, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis to drive organizational efficiencies and improvements. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to various aspects of project management, data analytics, and change management in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Analytical thinking with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and analyze data effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments and with diverse stakeholders
  • Problem-solving capability and adaptability to handle complex requests and perform effectively under pressure
  • Proficiency in office software such as MS Office and Google Workspace, as well as relevant ERP or specialized software
  • Automation and AI-first approach to problem resolution and process refinement
  • Willingness and enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and understanding different aspects of the business

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analysis to support Senior Construction Managers, Field Managers, Site Acquisition Managers, and Area Operations Managers in identifying trends, developing reports, and providing actionable recommendations
  • Support Quarterly Business Review reports by leveraging data and storytelling techniques to effectively communicate quarterly performance
  • Identify, align, and prioritize potential areas for change based on customer and business needs, inspiring improvements within and across functions, units, processes, and value flows
  • Apply a change management framework to support the rollout of process changes and improvements within regions
  • Collaborate with the Area Operations Manager to support cycle time reports and Closeout Package First Time Right reporting, analyzing performance, building data visualizations, and offering improvement recommendations
  • Support Senior Construction Managers in end-to-end project management, including assistance with project deliverables, financials, and deployment
  • Use data to provide performance feedback on suppliers and resources relative to key performance indicators
  • Assist in vendor onboarding and management, closely monitoring escalations and project utilization
  • Partner with Senior Construction Managers and Field Managers to monitor crew utilization and provide insights and recommendations for optimization

Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.
  • New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
