About The Position

The Operations Intern will collaborate directly with site Operation leaders to enhance the measurement, analysis, and improvement of operational performance across all shifts and sites. This role offers practical experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, emphasizing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), data analysis, and continuous improvement. The intern will evaluate existing quality metrics, gather feedback from frontline staff, analyze trends and root causes, and assist in converting these insights into high-impact improvement initiatives. By the end of the internship, the intern is expected to have contributed to measurable improvements and developed analytical, critical thinking, and Operations skills.

Requirements

  • Working toward Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • College Level Math Skills
  • Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms

Responsibilities

  • Conduct employee surveys, interviews, and feedback sessions
  • Analyze feedback to identify trends related to engagement, recognition, and communication
  • Summarize findings and present insights to leadership
  • Complete an employee engagement feedback analysis
  • Develop a Culture Engagement Toolkit for Operations leaders
  • Create at least five (5) actionable engagement and recognition ideas
  • Present final recommendations to Operations leadership
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all job functions
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisors or project leads
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules
  • Attendance to work is an essential function of this position
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor
