About The Position

At Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, the Main Operating Room RN delivers safe, high-quality care to surgical patients. This role involves providing intraoperative care by performing circulating and/or scrub duties, including patient positioning, site prep, instrumentation, and sterile technique. The RN will collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient, coordinated care throughout procedures. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week, day shift position with rotating weekends/holidays and on-call requirements. Specialty pay is available for experienced nurses. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing.
Valid RN license in Connecticut.

Nice To Haves

1 or more years of intraoperative nursing experience, including circulating and scrub experience.
Current BLS/CPR (AHA or Red Cross).
Familiarity with AORN standards.
Candidates seeking training through the AORN Periop 101 program with a July 2026 start date are welcome.
