Operating Room Coordinator
About The Position
Regions Hospital has an opportunity for an Operating Room Coordinator to join our team! This position works collaboratively with Surgical staff to coordinate care of surgical patients and communicate with patients/families. This role requires a high level of competence in utilizing complex specialized Operating Room and other computer systems, excellent telephone etiquette, and strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus. Specific areas of responsibility will be assigned most of the time; but may be assigned to cover all areas as directed. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements
- Three (3) years of computer/data entry experience
- excellent telephone etiquette
- strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
Nice To Haves
- Medical or surgical background preferred.
