About The Position

We are seeking an experienced OpenText Exstream Lead to design, develop, and lead enterprise communication solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in OpenText Exstream (Cloud Native) and a proven ability to lead complex template development, integrations, and high-volume document delivery initiatives. This role requires strong technical leadership, excellent client-facing skills, and hands-on experience across the Exstream platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream
• Strong experience with OpenText Exstream Cloud Native version
• Communication Designer
• Orchestrator
• Content Author
• Advanced experience in image and form composition
• Proven experience with complex template development
• Strong understanding of advanced data concepts and large-scale batch processing
• Rules, Functions, and Procedures
• Complex Tables
• Multiple output formats
• XML data mapping
• Experience integrating Exstream with Guidewire applications
• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Client-facing experience with a professional, presentable demeanor
• A proactive, positive attitude with a “Can-do / Will-do” mindset

Nice To Haves

• Experience in insurance or financial services domains
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Exstream deployments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Exposure to performance tuning and optimization for high-volume environments

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of OpenText Exstream communication solutions
• Architect and implement medium to complex templates using OpenText Exstream
• Work extensively with Communication Designer, Orchestrator, and Content Author
• Provide hands-on leadership for form and image composition, ensuring high-quality output
• Lead and support version upgrades and platform enhancements
• Design and implement complex XML data mapping
• Develop and optimize rules, functions, procedures, and complex tables
• Configure and manage multiple output types (PDF, AFP, PCL, HTML, etc.)
• Ensure reliable high-volume document generation and delivery
• Integrate OpenText Exstream solutions with Guidewire applications
• Support cloud-based deployments using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and propose technical solutions
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients and internal teams
• Mentor junior developers and review deliverables for quality and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
