About The Position

The Opportunity: As a software sustainment engineer, you play a pivotal role in an application's functional life. From troubleshooting to fixing bugs, you use your operations and maintenance skills to ensure that things run smoothly. We're looking for an experienced software sustainment engineer like you to apply your knowledge to our clients' challenges and their legacy enterprise systems. As a software sustainment engineer at Booz Allen, you'll have an operational impact from day one. With a team of professionals, you'll maintain applications and keep systems working. You and your team will use programming and scripting languages as you continuously enhance and maintain the applications, troubleshoot any issues that arise operationally, and upgrade the systems to meet security requirements. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with OpenText Content Server workflows and repositories
  • Experience with expertise in OScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and OpenText Web Services
  • Experience integrating OpenText with enterprise systems such as SAP, Microsoft 365, or ServiceNow
  • Experience in developing integrations between OpenText and other enterprise systems such as Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or Power Platform
  • Experience in collaborating with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement solutions within the OpenText Content Server and Extended ECM platforms
  • Ability to configure and work with customized Content Server modules, workflows, metadata, and permissions to meet business and compliance requirements, and create and maintain scripts, APIs, and web services for system automation and data exchanges
  • Ability to address findings from design and code reviews and develop detailed specifications for program components within a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 15+ years of experience in software development in lieu of degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating and testing modules and components for compliance to design specifications
  • Experience working in a microservices or distributed application environment
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, C#, C/C++, .NET, React, Angular, or NodeJS
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • OpenText Content Server Certification
