About The Position

Our growing Dermatology Department at the University of north Carolina-Chapel Hill is seeking candidates for a faculty position in Mohs surgery and dermatologic surgery. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in cutaneous oncology and comfort with management of complex tumors, ideally including melanoma and other skin cancers using immunostaining techniques with Mohs surgery. Applicants must have strong clinical skills and a commitment to academic dermatology with interest and skill in teaching and participating in the training of clinical fellows, medical students and residents. Strong interpersonal skills are a must for this appointment. Rank will be commensurate with experience. This position will require working at the UNC Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center at Southern Village in Chapel Hill and the UNC Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center at Rex in Raleigh, NC. This position is being recruited as an open rank appointment at an FTE between 0.5 FTE and 1.0 FTE . The appointment will be offered as a fixed-term track, variable track or tenure-track appointment.

Requirements

Excellence in cutaneous oncology
