About The Position
This opening presents an exceptional opportunity to join a public, research-intensive school of nursing with a consistent track record of funding from NIH , HRSA , and private sources. UNC School of Nursing seeks accomplished individuals to join our dynamic team as an Associate Professor or Professor. We are particularly interested in recruiting faculty whose program of research demonstrates innovation and interdisciplinary collaborations and aligns with our research themes: nursing and health systems, biobehavioral research, digital innovation, multi-level determinants of health, community engagement, and preventing chronic illness and promoting health. To help us train the next generation of nursing leaders and scientists, applicants should demonstrate a record of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants should also demonstrate a record of successfully mentoring students at a level appropriate to career stage. We will consider applicants at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor as well as individuals currently at the rank of Assistant Professor at advanced level with demonstrated exceptional publication and funding history.
