An Onsite Maintenance Coordinator II operates and adjusts machinery to meet performance expectations, serves as the first point of contact for troubleshooting, and supports operators to maintain a 96% uptime. This role requires ensuring all machines remain within proper operating requirements and training operators on best practices.

Requirements

  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing and speaking
  • Work activities involving combinations of walking, kneeling, climbing, pulling, bending, lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information, and follow processes that have been published
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
  • Must be able to provide system training to team members as needed
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, professional oral or written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers and other employees of the organization
  • Must be able to use a PC
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and push a cart weighing 1,500 pounds
  • The work requires the ability to operate tools, equipment, and machinery

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling preventative maintenance in coordination with supervisors, leads, and technicians
  • Making sure operators have everything they need to perform their tasks without leaving their machines
  • Maintaining floor cleanliness
  • Properly organizing and diagnosing stock
  • Ensuring quality and efficiency on the insertion side by verifying that setup logs, top sheets, and computer systems are updated through weekly checks
  • Submitting material requisitions for approval
  • Tracking supplies to support efficient equipment operation
  • Investigating and resolving workflow issues while recommending procedural improvements
  • Performing other departmental duties as needed
  • Adhering to company policies and operating principles
  • Meeting attendance standards to effectively carry out responsibilities and collaborate with management and coworkers
