About The Position

Premier Association Management is seeking an experienced Onsite Community Association Manager (CAM) for a 500+ gated community located in Sorrento, Florida. This community includes a golf club and clubhouse that are owned and operated by a separate private entity. This is a highly independent role where the Manager will work directly with the Board of Directors to oversee all operational, administrative, and governance functions of the association. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, experienced in onsite management, and capable of operating autonomously while maintaining strong Board relationships.

Requirements

  • Active Florida CAM license required
  • Prior onsite Community Association Manager experience required
  • Experience managing large-scale communities (400+ homes preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Florida HOA statutes and governing documents
  • Ability to work independently and manage a community with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Professional presence and ability to work directly with Board members

  • Experience managing large-scale communities (400+ homes preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and homeowners
  • Prepare Board meeting agendas, management reports, and supporting documentation
  • Attend and facilitate Board meetings and annual membership meetings
  • Execute Board directives in accordance with governing documents and state regulations
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the 500+ home gated community
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery
  • Monitor community standards and covenant compliance
  • Oversee maintenance coordination for common areas (excluding privately owned golf and clubhouse operations)
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial review in partnership with accounting
  • Monitor assessments, collections, and owner account issues
  • Review invoices and ensure proper expense coding and approvals
  • Maintain accurate community records and documentation
  • Respond to homeowner inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage architectural review processes in accordance with governing documents
  • Support communication initiatives between the Board and residents
