Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mobile inspection/reporting software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple communities or projects.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to walk long distances, climb stairs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in HOA management, code enforcement, property management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Inspector as needed/directed and understand the duties and responsibilities of the inspector role
  • Work with Senior Inspector to coordinate assigned "sections" of the community for inspection
  • Physically inspect homes within the association/sub-associations and manage/monitor/violate/escalate or close per community documents, standards, and policies and procedures
  • Assist in reviewing & verify VEC hearing minutes, for all VEC hearings in accordance with the association's policies and procedures
  • Assist on site staff as needed/directed
  • Email, phone, or meet in person, with owners whose violation may need further assistance, and escalate to management as needed.
  • Attend all VEC hearings and take notes to assist Inspector(s) and/or ACAM with meeting minutes
  • Assist with additional projects or tasks as needed and directed by the Manager.
