About The Position

Responsible for managing the day-to-day business operations of a John Hopkins Medical, Radiation, Thoracic/Orthopedic Surgical Oncology practice, infusion center, and Research program at Sibley Hospital. Position reports to the Medical Director and to the Oncology Program Administrator. Responsibilities include managing, coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day clinical, administrative, and business operations on site, financial clearance, charges and revenue cycle management. The manager will also respond to the needs of multiple faculty members, supervise staff, provide coverage, develop and manage the budget of a growing and dynamic department. Responsibilities also include purchasing and maintaining all clinical equipment, coordinating all resources, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff. Under the direction of the Medical Director, the Oncology Program Administrator, and working collaboratively with the Oncology Nurse Manager, the position will create and implement policies and procedures for JH Oncology at Sibley. The position will create a management structure for continuous process improvement, successful EPIC and Mosaiq utilization, enhanced communication, team building, conflict resolution, service excellence, and enhanced patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • MBA or Masters in Health Administration with 5-7 years' progressive experience in a relevant setting.
  • BS with 7-10 years' experience will also be considered.
