Why is this role important to Field Nation? We are looking for an Onboarding Specialist to lead our customers through their most critical milestones within their Field Nation journey, transitioning them from contract signed to successful power user. This role is responsible for driving the behavioral and tactical changes necessary for customers to thrive on the Field Nation marketplace. The Onboarding Specialist must be able to clearly capture and articulate the customers strategy and needs, cultivate engagement in a client-driven organization, and accelerate user adoption through advising customers on best practices in order to create a prescriptive path to drive successful outcomes and enable a customer to transform their business. This position will also offer the chance to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment where innovative ideas are encouraged and collaboration is a must.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in technical/operational training and change management–focused roles.
  • Strong consultative communicator with the ability to clearly present to both operational and management audiences.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Analytical problem solver with strong troubleshooting skills, sound judgment, and comfort navigating conflict.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented team player who takes ownership and maintains composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to translate business strategy into prescriptive onboarding roadmaps with clear milestones, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead end-to-end onboarding engagements, guiding transformation across people, process, and systems to drive adoption.
  • Proactively identify and remove adoption blockers, mitigate risk, and pivot plans to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for assigned accounts, exercising sound independent judgment.
  • Design and deliver high-impact training grounded in marketplace best practices and ROI-driven behaviors.
  • Educate customers on the 1099 marketplace model, talent and resource management strategies, and platform functionality.
  • Coach customers on proven workflows and habits used by top performers to drive immediate wins and sustained value.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Customer Success, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance to execute professional services engagements.
  • Own the client’s path to value with agile execution, providing timely reporting aligned to strategic goals and success metrics.
  • Continuously refine enablement materials, analyze performance trends, and share insights to drive consistent, scalable outcomes.
