About this role: The Onboarding & Training Coordinator supports the full onboarding experience for new hires and coordinates training and recertification schedules for staff. This role ensures a smooth orientation process, accurate training documentation, and effective communication across departments.

Requirements

Minimum age: 18
Bachelor's degree preferred or 2-4 years of experience with organizing training processes and scheduling.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Experience with training evaluation tools and methods.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual training platforms (Zoom, Teams, LMS)
Valid driver’s license and Social Security number
Ability to type 70+ WPM and navigate basic computer systems
Must pass background checks, DMV screening, Medicaid exclusion, fingerprinting (if SC resident < 1 year), and provide 3 professional references

Responsibilities

Welcome new hires and assist with system access (Therap, Docebo, BambooHR).
Provide daily schedules, conduct tours, review expectations, and track attendance.
Maintain training supplies, equipment, and organized files.
Facilitate portions of orientation and renewal courses, including Defensive Driving.
Upload training documents, update transcripts, and manage Learning Paths.
Schedule recertifications and maintain monthly training calendars.
Coordinate training needs with external agencies.
Schedule and facilitate First Aid/CPR and ADL for TN and NC new hires.
