About The Position

Today, OCI's mission is to protect and educate Wisconsin consumers by maintaining and promoting a strong
insurance industry. More information about OCI is available on OCI's public site at https://oci.wi.gov.
In 2019, OCI implemented a solution using OnBase by Hyland to support the following:
• A web-based filing portal, to allow insurers to file various documents electronically into OnBase, greatly
reducing the efforts formerly required to handle paper filings;
• Generation and editing of associated documents generated by OCI;
• Business process workflow, collecting the dates of work and transactions within the office;
• Automating the review of documents and approvals of requests, and
• Reminding staff to complete tasks in a timely manner.
OCI Information Technology (OCI IT) supports and manages the OnBase solution for the benefit of OCI. OCI IT is
looking for an additional experienced OnBase Contractor to support, maintain, and develop additional functionality
with OnBase.

Requirements

• Completed or recently renewed OnBase Certified Workview Developer (OCWV) (Hyland Certified OnBase WorkView Administrator) certification, within the past 4 years
• Building OnBase low-to-no code solutions, following Hyland best practices and design methodology: o Workview standalone applications o Workflow standalone lifecycles o Workflow/Workview combined solutions o Document Composition templates
• Design thinking – determine and work toward an outcome, not just following a list of steps
• Troubleshooting pre-existing OnBase solutions with minimal existing documentation
• Creating and editing business process and technical documentation
• Working directly with business users to resolve production issues timely and correctly
• Strong communication skills, including verbal (phone/video) and written (email)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and task management skills
• Desire and ability to actively participate in business requirements gathering sessions and technical reviews

Nice To Haves

• State and/or Local Government work history
• IT Service Management (ITIL) certification

Responsibilities

• User support and triage of issues, and timely resolution of assigned tickets
• Identifying patterns of tickets to isolate true root cause and propose solutions and/or changes
• Understanding business requirements to achieve OCI’s desired outcomes, while adhering to agency policies and procedures
• Suggesting, and demonstrating, conceptual designs to improve the user experience
• High quality module configuration and design using low-to-no-code approach, with minimal oversight
• Communication of important updates and/or necessary changes to Management, where appropriate
• Recommendation for design improvements to existing solutions
• Standard development environment requirements, to include documentation and task tracking
• Support for other OCI IT team initiatives as needed
