About The Position
The On-Site Workforce Supervisor is responsible for managing overnight staffing operations at a client manufacturing facility. This role focuses on workforce coordination, employee engagement, headcount management, and compliance with safety and HR protocols.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in staffing, workforce management, or manufacturing operations
- Experience supporting employee relations and workforce coordination
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with Vendor Management Systems (VMS)
- Experience with HRIS or workforce management systems (UKG preferred)
Responsibilities
- Manage active employee headcount and workforce coverage to meet operational needs
- Monitor attendance and track workforce data using workforce management systems such as UKG
- Support workforce planning and employee scheduling
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for employee questions and concerns during overnight operations
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Assist with disciplinary actions and employee terminations while ensuring compliance with HR policies
- Collaborate with client supervisors and operations managers to ensure workforce alignment with production goals
- Support strategies that improve employee engagement and retention
- Maintain accurate workforce documentation and reporting
- Assist with safety documentation and incident reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards
