About The Position

We are seeking 30 dependable part-time standby/on-call employees to join our packaging team! This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, on-call work — perfect for those who want extra hours or a foot in the door for future full-time or scheduled positions. As a Standby Packager, you’ll be on-call to fill in when needed. You may receive a call asking you to report to work the same day or the next day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be available to accept same-day or next-day work assignments on an on-call basis.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hours) and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
• Must adhere to all safety, attendance, and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare packaging materials such as boxes, crates, and containers.
• Inspect packaging for defects including tears, cracks, or dents.
• Ensure materials are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
• Stack, palletize, and label materials accurately in accordance with work orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and review packing lists for completeness.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
