This position being an on-call, it does not have any regularly assigned work shifts and will be asked to work on an as-needed basis. The primary job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, supporting CVRF’s Community Service Center by providing aluminum boat repairs, customization, small engine repair, fabrication projects, soliciting shop space, and handling fishermen bunk rentals. Specific duties include: Aluminum boat welding repairs, customizations and fabrications Interacting with the public for requests for service, providing estimated costs, performing repairs and collecting fees for repairs and services Facilitate shop and bunk room rentals, including collection of fees and verifying appropriate waivers have been signed Complete work orders for services and rentals, forward to the Corporate office, and file on-site Maintain technical knowledge, attend educational workshops, and review technical publications Other duties as assigned This position reports directly to the Region Mechanic/Welder Manager. Starting wage: $DOE – Status: Non-Exempt Hourly – On-Call Requirements
