Location: Lake Placid Conference Center – Lake Placid, NY Located at ORDA Lake Placid, home of the legendary 1980 "Miracle on Ice" and the Olympic Museum, this venue hosts hockey and skating events across four rinks, plus catered events and special gatherings throughout the year. A Day in the Life of a Catering Server As an On-Call Catering Server, you'll be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional meals and experiences for our guests. Your role is hands-on, fast paced, and incredibly rewarding.
Responsibilities
- Set up serving areas and keep them stocked and tidy
- Serve food from steam tables and assist with plated meals
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards
- Interact with guests, delivering friendly and attentive service
- Help keep the kitchen and serving areas running smoothly
