About The Position

The OJT Manager will develop, implement, and manage on-the-job training programs for all employees to acquire necessary skills and knowledge for their roles.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, Write and understand spoken and written English.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge skill and or ability required.
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and days off.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Computer Proficiency
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent Organization skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • A, P or both Certification is preferred.
  • CFR 121, 145, and 147 knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate between department heads, subject matter experts and other stakeholders to establish/identify on-the-job training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of each departments on-the-job training program to identify deficiencies and improvements through use of assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Mentor on-the-job trainers through proper OJT completion by tracking progress, providing feedback, and ensuring they meet learning objectives.
  • Provide reports on OJT program improvements and effectiveness.
  • Create procedures on how specific OJT can be completed and submitted for record keeping.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Promoting training opportunities to employees within the company.
  • Ensuring OJT training programs adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Coordinating and conducting training sessions, workshops, and hands-on training activities.
  • Creating training materials, procedures, and guides to support the training programs.
  • Designing and developing comprehensive OJT programs tailored to specific roles and needs.
  • Perform any other additional duties as assigned by the Director of Technical Training.
