About The Position

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Ensure all qualified NSE associates are given an opportunity to be certified on the above stated process. Keep detailed records of all training on the above stated certifications for each class given. Conduct daily team meetings (Pre, Mid, and Post Shift) with Trainees Ensure all tools and equipment are readily available for Trainees daily (scanner, check-sheets, vanning layouts, and forklift) Ensure daily 5S Activity is completed before the end of the shift. Ensure all SOPs are covered with Trainees. Process Evaluations Ensure process evaluations are completed at the end of the shift and returned to the training department. Ensure all Trainees have an assigned copy of the process evaluation they are trained to run. ERGO Training Ensure all associates complete daily ERGO Training Ensure all trainees are trained on the specific training on the lifting techniques. Ensure all trainees demonstrate this process and a sign off sheet are collected from each associate and returned to the training department. Forklift Training Driving and Maneuvering within the work environment Ensure correct leveling when using forks. Stacking and down stacking properly Stacking on carts and trailer loading/unloading Demonstrate how to charge PIV Equipment properly. Ensure all associates are properly trained on how to handle high risk containers. Ensure all associates are properly trained on how to handle damage containers. Train associates on the Small Parts Picking Process How to read a part number, break-down How to read a PAD AP Pallet 'Quad' Break-down Part number location How to read a Packing Check sheet Building a case pack using both the Packing Check sheet and the PAD pick sheet Proper banding techniques Proper method of to buckle the banding on a completed case pack. Ensure associates practice with all 4 types of PADs available in the training. Scanner Training Ensure trainee understands how to login on a scanner. Ensure trainee understands how to maneuver within the scanner. Ensure the trainee understands using the scanner and the purpose. Ensure the Trainee knows their permanent assignment after the completion of on-the-job-training. Conduct daily audits of Trainees to see what problems the Trainees are experiencing and what should be corrected to ensure safe operations and adherence to SOPs. Demonstrate and serve as a role model for Respect for the Individual at all times. Maintain professional and consistent Open Communication with all levels of the organization, communicating with diverse groups of people and ensuring understanding. Demonstrate and serve as a role model for a Challenging Spirit and Innovation by continuous improvement in daily processes using PDCA cycles. Demonstrate and serve as a role model for Timely, Informed Decision Making by utilizing gemba practices and efficiently gathering information to make decisions that protect the organization and ensure fair treatment of Associates. Solve problems and resolve issues/concerns in a timely manner. Apply preventative measures. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and sustains trust with peers and customers. Support leadership with other assigned duties and tasks

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Trainer must have 12 months of service with NSE as a full-time associate.
  • Trainer must not have more than one (1) at Fault Safety/Quality Incidents, or Severe Occurrences at any time while in the role.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented required
  • Ability to lift to 40lbs continuously and stand for prolonged periods of time on concrete.
  • Trainer must always maintain a valid Forklift License while in the Trainer Role
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical organization and communication skills
  • Candidate must be a full-time associate with a minimum of 3 months of service
  • Associate cannot be in their New Hire Probationary Period.
  • Candidate must have received 0 written corrective actions, excluding attendance within the past 6 months.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 3.5 points at the time of this posting and/or cannot reach 1.5 points while in the position.
  • Candidate must be eligible the day the posting comes down on: Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 4:00pm
  • Candidate who has received a transfer from an internal posting from Division to Division within the past 12 months are ineligible for this position.
