Requirements

  • Coursework/training or experience in public contact, customer service, and/or performing and applying office/clerical support procedures, including the use of a personal computer, associated software, and office equipment.
  • Valid Nebraska driver’s license (must be willing to transport State Wards to other cities in Nebraska).
  • General office practices and procedures; computer office applications, systems, and programs; maintain records and files; scanning/imaging equipment, multi-function copy machines, multi-line telephones and other office equipment; perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paces environment.
  • Effective communication: English grammar and usage: understand human services practices and procedures; accommodate new methods; maintain confidentiality; sharp attention to detail; proof reading skills; accurate keyboarding skills; and predictable and reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Office experiences including clerical and administrative duties.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience in Human Services or Social Services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and pay great attention to detail.
