Helly Hansen is seeking an Office/Showroom Manager and FTR hybrid position for the US team. This position will be based in the new 15k square foot Denver office/showroom in LODO. This new position will provide all management of the Office, Showrooms, Sample lines and storage spaces for the US. In the off season, this role will pivot to a Field Tech Rep. This role is responsible for the set-up and maintenance of two showrooms, an office for 30 employees and storage spaces. A large portion of the role involves sample management including inventory management, sample sell off, showroom set-up, load in/out for trade shows, retailer showroom appointments and entertaining functions on-site. This position works closely with the Sales and DTC teams to ensure our needs are met and exceeded. This hybrid role also includes being a Field Tech Rep in the off seasons. Our FTR will perform Retailer clinics, store flips and consumer event activations. This position requires about 30% travel to events, retailers and trade shows.

Requirements

  • Prefer a postsecondary education via an Associates or BS degree
  • Three plus years of experience in the ski/outdoor industry, apparel/footwear a plus
  • Event experience; Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including weekends
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Demonstrated results in executing multiple projects on a seasonal basis
  • Excellent process management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Team and Customer Service Attitude and mentality
  • No task too small or too big mentality
  • Teams, PowerPoint, Excel experience including pivot tables, lookups

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced Skier/snowboarder a plus

Responsibilities

  • Office Management: Support 25+ employees, supplies, communications, maintenance
  • Showroom Management: Set-up, flips, organize, schedules, appointments, catering
  • Sample Management: All aspects of sample management. Sample sets are robust. Receiving, inventory, unpacking, set-up, maintenance, pack up, budgets, sell-off.
  • Event Support: Attend and support events as needed. Examples are in-store events, regattas, mountain festivals and on snow events.
  • Retailer Clinics: Perform retailers training clinics and stoke fests for the two seasons…Spring and Fall.
  • Store Flips: Season store flips for Helly Hansen licensed and owned retail stores
  • Administration: This position is responsible for adopting and evolving processes and identified tools to appropriately manage office space, schedule meetings, unpacking and preparing samples, and manage to a budget.
