About The Position

Position provides a variety of support services to the Director and the department. including written correspondence and department records management, scheduling, triage of incomin g communications , and assistance with prioritizing the Department Director 's workload.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business, office or public administration is required.
  • Five years of comparable experience and education may be substituted for the educational requirement.
  • High proficiency in business English is required.
  • A working knowledge of the Council's software in word processing, spreadsheet databases and desktop publishing are required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required .
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize duties and work with staff to complete tasks.
  • Must be able to operate agency administrative equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
