About The Position

LandSouth is a Jacksonville-based construction company specializing in building apartment communities throughout the Southeast. Located near San Pablo Road, our corporate office is seeking a full-time Office Manager to join our team! This is a full-time, hourly position with a consistent schedule of 8:00am to 5:00pm. SUMMARY As the Office Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the corporate office by maintaining an efficient, organized, and professional environment that enables overall business success. You will manage front-end administrative functions, coordinate services and vendors, and facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners. As LandSouth's Office Manager, you will provide support to both our office and field employees, handle logistics and supplies, and help foster a positive workplace culture through event planning and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of administration support
  • Experience with calendar/meeting coordination, multi-line phone systems, and event management
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting HR administrative functions is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage the reception area to ensure professional, courteous, and efficient handling of all telephone, in-person, and mail communications, both internally and externally with clients, vendors, and visitors
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services with accuracy and promptness
  • Coordinate catering services, conference room bookings, and meeting space set up to support both internal and external meetings
  • Maintain the corporate calendar with attention to detail, ensuring accurate categorization of appointments and proactively resolving any potential space or scheduling conflicts
  • Oversee procurement and inventory management for office, kitchen, and field supplies to ensure consistent availability of essential items
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and a professional appearance of all common areas, including both internal and external spaces
  • Coordinate facility-related requests, including maintenance, IT support, office moves, and janitorial services, to ensure efficient and timely resolution
  • Plan, organize, and execute engaging office events, seasonal celebrations, and team-building activities to foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture
  • Manage the distribution of event tickets for corporate-sponsored events
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees by preparing welcome kits, ordering business cards and equipment, and setting up workspaces for a seamless transition
  • Provide comprehensive executive-level support, including travel coordination, scheduling assistance, and management of special projects as assigned
  • Support marketing efforts by assisting with event planning and execution as needed
