Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Office Manager & HR Specialist for our Corporate Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position reports directly to the Corporate HR Manager located in Bloomington, Indiana. Job Summary: The Office Manager & HR Specialist is committed to building a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. We're looking for a highly organized and people-focused Office Manager with a background in HR and recruitment to keep our operations running smoothly while helping us grow an exceptional team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in office management, HR, or recruiting roles
  • BS in Management or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and recruiting techniques
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and HR tools (e.g., ATS systems, HRIS platforms)
  • High level of discretion with confidential information
  • A proactive, people-first attitude and a problem-solving mindset
  • Familiarity with labor laws and compliance (local/state/federal)

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)-Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure a well-organized, efficient, and welcoming environment
  • Lead initiatives that enhance team morale, recognition, and employee experience
  • Support onboarding processes that set new hires up for success and connection from day one
  • Manage office supplies, vendors, budgets, and facilities maintenance
  • Coordinate internal meetings and events.
  • Serve as a culture champion—planning team events, celebrations, and activities that bring people together
  • Act as the point of contact for internal staff and external partners
  • Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process: job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding
  • Maintain employee records and assist with HR compliance and documentation
  • Support performance review cycles, training initiatives, and employee engagement activities
  • Partner with leadership on HR policies, workplace culture, and employee relations
