Summary: Coordinates activities of workers engaged in recording hours of work, processing time records, compiling payroll statistics, maintaining payroll control records, and calculating payrolls by performing the following duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma; three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews personnel records to determine names, rates of pay, and occupations of newly hired workers, and changes in wage rates and occupations of employees on payroll.
  • Processes new or changed pay rates with payroll and/or computer files.
  • Computation of pay according to company policy.
  • Interprets company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.
  • Reviews payroll information to ensure accuracy.
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules.
  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of procedures.
  • Adjusts errors and complaints.
  • Position is full-time and on-site.
  • Other duties as they may be assigned.
