POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE This role will be directly responsible for coordinating and performing a wide variety of administrative projects, including assisting in the accounts payable and receivable process, and supporting employee-focused activities at the facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required. Associate's degree or above preferred.
  • Must have at least three years of accounting experience.
  • Must be proficient in mathematics, accounting and MS Office.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and be able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Possess an understanding of general ledger and how to categorize expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve accounting and payroll issues.
  • Provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects as needed.
  • Check documents for validity and accuracy of information; performs mathematical calculations; records and files related paperwork and documents.
  • Ensure all invoices are properly approved and coded to the general ledger.
  • Perform the data entry of invoices and balancing in the accounting system.
  • Maintain vendor records and vendor database.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
