About The Position

The Office Coordinator coordinates the day-to-day operations and provides administrative support to the Medical Management team/communications and front office operations.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree Required
  • Five plus years of experience in an administrative role including health care
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Training in PC based automated word processing systems, PC, or mainframe-based database management programs.
  • Requires knowledge of medical or equally complex terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate departmental office functions including organizing clerical functions and determining priority of tasks to insure efficient office operations.
  • Works closely with the clinical team and provides support with utilization review coordination, discharge planning both Medical and BH/transition of care
  • Compliance Management, data tracking and appeals
  • Appointment scheduling and patient coordination
