About The Position

West Town Bakery is seeking an organized, adaptable Office Assistant to support administrative operations, manage cake sales coordination, and assist with day-to-day needs across the bakery. This is a hands-on, in-house role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable wearing many hats while helping keep the business running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar tools
  • Experience in administrative, hospitality, retail, or food service roles preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Cake or specialty food sales experience a plus (not required)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office and administrative functions, including email, scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping
  • Manage cake inquiries and orders from initial request through pickup
  • Prepare quotes, confirmations, and order documentation
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen, front-of-house, and management teams
  • Assist with basic invoicing, purchasing, and internal reporting
  • Support daily operations and step in where help is needed during busy periods
