About The Position

We are a third-generation family-owned business seeking an Office Assistant to join our growing, multifaceted company. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for efficiency in our fast-paced commercial service industry. This position will work closely with the Office Administrator to assist with day-to-day operations. You will also work closely with plant managers and communicate with our statewide locations. If you work well independently, as well as part of a team, we look forward to hearing from you today.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Proven experience in an office environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to interact effectively with team members in various locations.
  • Capability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands.

Responsibilities

  • Data Entry pertaining to driver paperwork and Mechanic Work Orders
  • Filing
  • Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the office
  • Answering phones and routing calls as needed
  • Working with the scale to weigh trucks in and out
  • Coding and entering Accounts payable invoices
  • Producing routine reports
  • Provide general administrative support to the operations team as needed
