Pay: $21-$24 per hour depending on experience Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (in office) Location: Pen Argyl, PA Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Junior Accounts Payable Clerk and Office Assistant plays a key role in supporting both the Finance team. This position is responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounts payable processes while also assisting with office and administrative duties. The role is well-suited for an organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys balancing both financial and people-focused responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Experience in Accounts Payable preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS/ATS systems preferred
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to build positive relationships with candidates, employees, and external partners
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain accuracy in all tasks
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively provide administrative support to the Finance team, Human Resources and other site leadership
  • Prepare catalog shipment requests
  • Complete daily deposits for Accounts Receivable for three separate companies
  • Maintain office organization and order supplies, including filing systems (electronic and physical), inventory of supplies, and sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Liaise with corporate and regional staff to facilitate communication and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks
  • Man the front desk, answer phones and direct vendors on site
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold professional standards in all communications.
  • Assist with invoicing, creating purchase orders, processing weekly payments to vendors and vendor services
  • Set up new vendors in the accounting system and manage vendor onboarding for ACH payments
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for all Accounts Payable documentation
  • Other Accounts Payable tasks.
