About The Position

Blumhouse is looking for an Office Assistant, who also supports the HR department. This role will be responsible for managing the front desk and general office administration, serving as the main point of contact in reception and support human resource processes. To do this role properly you should have strong organizational skills, be extremely fast at solving problems, have a professional demeanor, and be able to multi-task.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in an administrative or customer service role, including internship experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • Must be extremely organized, proactive, responsible, resourceful, team player and possess strong communication skills
  • Must demonstrate a professional demeanor and be willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Act as point person for office related issues with Blumhouse employees, guests, vendors, and team members, interacting with them in a professional and timely manner
  • Answering phone calls and responding appropriately to the caller’s needs
  • Maintain the kitchen area on each floor, manage inventory and order snacks and supplies for the office
  • Manage the pick-up and delivery of mail and packages
  • Manage company wide catering requests
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation with integrity and confidentiality
  • Provide clerical support to the HR department
  • Help to update health and safety requirements for the office when appropriate
  • Miscellaneous errands may be required
  • Other admin duties as assigned
