About The Position

The Part-Time Office Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient daily office operations. This role supports service order entry, processing field tickets, assisting walk-in field staff, and performing light accounts payable (AP) tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or accounting coursework a plus
  • Prior office, administrative, or clerical experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move about the office as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally
  • Frequent use of computers, phones, and office equipment

Responsibilities

  • Enter and process service orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Receive, review, and file field tickets and related documentation
  • Assist walk-in field personnel with basic administrative needs
  • Perform light accounts payable duties, including invoice data entry and document matching
  • Maintain organized records (digital and physical)
  • Answer phones, route inquiries, and provide general office support as needed
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned
