About The Position

The Office Assistant / Behavioral Health Technician is a dual-role position supporting both administrative and direct care functions. As the Office Assistant, you will act as the primary point of contact for assigned programs, ensuring operations function effectively while serving as a liaison and resource to internal and external business partners. As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents ages 2–21 who are experiencing serious emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. With guidance from the Behavioral Consultant, you will support the implementation of treatment plans designed to improve independent, age-appropriate functioning and reduce the need for higher levels of intervention. This role requires travel to schools, homes, and community settings. Clinic hours are approximately: Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Thursday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Friday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Behavioral Health Technician responsibilities require approximately 13–20 hours per week in schools, homes, or community settings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and proof of car insurance
  • Ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI Clearances
  • Basic understanding of data entry and formatting in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel between multiple locations as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience supporting a similarly sized office and/or one (1) year of experience in a customer service position
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in behavioral health settings

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned programs
  • Ensure assigned programs function efficiently and effectively
  • Act as liaison and resource to internal and external business partners
  • Perform administrative duties including data entry and document formatting in Microsoft Office
  • Provide one-to-one behavioral health services to children and adolescents ages 2–21
  • Implement treatment plan interventions under the supervision of a Behavioral Consultant
  • Support clients in developing independent and age-appropriate functioning skills
  • Travel to schools, homes, and community settings to deliver services
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
  • Travel up to 25% between locations as needed
