Position Summary The Office Administrator provides comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient office operations and timely coordination of client services. This role plays a key part in supporting program growth, managing referrals, and assisting staff who work directly with clients experiencing mental health challenges.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an office administrator, office assistant, or similar administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision
  • Comfortable supporting operations in a mental health or human services setting

Nice To Haves

  • Technical School or Associate’s Degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day‑to‑day office operations, including maintaining inventory and ordering office supplies
  • Manage phone calls and general correspondence (emails, letters, packages), responding professionally and handling urgent or crisis‑related calls appropriately
  • Maintain databases and client records, including logging referrals, creating folders, and filing assessments in a timely manner
  • Assign referrals to social workers accurately and promptly
  • Prepare and submit reports, presentations, and proposals as requested
  • Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as needed
