Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounting experience required
  • Experience with accounting software required
  • Maintains accurate records, manages multiple responsibilities, and follows through consistently.
  • Handles payroll, financial data, and employee information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Takes initiative, prioritizes work effectively, and keeps systems running without constant oversight.
  • Communicates well with vendors, customers, and internal teams while adjusting to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of office administration experience preferred
  • Associate degree in accounting or finance preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • QuickBooks experience strongly preferred.
  • Crow's Nest experience is a plus (training available).

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll and manage PTO, benefits, and related employee records.
  • Oversee bookkeeping and accounts payable, including POs, invoices, credit card reconciliation, and vendor accounts in QuickBooks and Crow's Nest.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including job costing, COGS tracking, W-9s, 1099 documentation, and sales tax exemption forms.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing issues and support smooth financial operations.
  • Serve as the central office contact, handling calls, mail, records, supplies, and occasional local errands.
