About The Position

The OEM Business Development Manager will lead a team to grow Rotork’s sales through a variety of OEM sales channels. This sales leader will be responsible to both expand our sales at existing OEM channels including valvemakers, gate manufactures, and damper manufacturers. Additionally, the Business Development Manager will identify potential customers and develop go-to-market strategies to expand Rotork sales to water and wastewater process equipment manufacturers and drive Rotork sales at these companies in conjunction with their direct reports. Requirements

  • Sales experience in providing equipment and/or services to relevant industries
  • Good command of English, (both spoken and written)
  • Knowledge and experience of value selling sales techniques
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time throughout the US with occasional international travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree or recognized qualification in Engineering or Business preferred but not required (equivalent experience required).
  • Sales experience providing equipment and / or services to the water/wastewater market.
  • Intimate knowledge of the US Water and Wastewater market, applications, and selling processes
  • People Management experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growing sales at Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships with OEMs
  • Maintains direct sales relationship with multiple key accounts
  • Manages sales team responsible for growth at additional accounts
  • Develops target account list and track opportunities within company CRM
  • Works with existing outside sales team and existing channel partners to support project sales at these accounts
  • Develops go-to-market strategy to increase sales across the market for process equipment manufacturers
  • Keeps informed about our competitive position and the actions of competitors
  • Works in co-operation with Head of Sales and Sector Manager to develop a sales plan that is aligned with the goals of the Company
  • Responsible for providing regular business forecasts for all products and services
