About The Position

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. This position requires experience in both acute care and outpatient settings, with occasional weekend coverage. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Must work one weekend per month) COMPETITIVE PAY!! The Occupational Therapist will: Administer occupational therapy services as prescribed by a physician Evaluate patients and establish individualized treatment goals in collaboration with healthcare professionals, patients, and families Maintain accurate documentation, records, and related reports Participate in clinics, rounds, and conferences, presenting patient progress and updates Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans Maintain therapy equipment and ensure adequate supplies Participate in staff education and training programs as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Active New York State licensure or eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Experience in acute care and outpatient settings required
• Ability to work one weekend per month
• Must pass pre-employment health clearance

Nice To Haves

• Trauma and ICU experience preferred
